STUDENT CLUBS

         Student Clubs are activated as a part of the extra-curricular activities to provide our students a medium of self-development and the best past time. Student Cubs are: Ship Modeling, Seamanship, Computer, Music, Art, Drama, Journalism, Atatürkism and Historical Days Commemoration, Naval War History Research, Library, and Environmentalism. These activities are held twice a week (Tuesday / Thursday) after classes both at Altınova and Derince campuses under the guidance of the instructors in charge.

         Most of the clubs except a few are held indoors, where as the Environmentalism and Seamanship clubs carry out their activities outdoors and at sea if the weather conditions are suitable.Besides, the Naval War History Research club occasionally visits Gölcük Naval War History Research Center when possible.

         The activities of the clubs are made known all throughout the year by means of bulletins and announcements. At the end of the year, Drama and Art Club performances are displayed among the exhibition of the other club activities.
